Marcos Evangelista de Morais, better known as Cafu, was the flying Brazilian right back considered one of the best in the world in the nineties and early 2000s. Together with Roberto Carlos, they formed the formidable attacking wing backs for the Brazilian national team for many years.
Never shy of surging forward, the energetic Cafu was able to constantly link up with the right wing to support the offense, putting in crosses and even chipping in a few goals of his own. Playing for Roma and AC Milan in the Italian Serie A, he secured two Scudettos, a Champions League and many other trophies.
For Brazil, Cafu was the record holder for the most appearances – at 142 caps. He also played in four World Cups, from 1994 to 2006, and won two of them.
