Lethal German striker Jürgen Klinsmann was prolific in his goalscoring prowess for almost every clubs he played, where he had extensive experiences at Europe’s top tier football in the nineties, including the German, Italian, English and French leagues. Klinsmann’s football career saw him plundered a total of 284 goals in 620 games in all competitions, at a rate of 0.45 goal per game.

Klinsmann was equally prolific for his country Germany (including the former West Germany). He was the fourth all-time top scorer for the national team, with 47 international goals in 108 caps. In the decade between 1988 and 1998, he represented Germany in three World Cups and three European Championships, scoring in each and every of these major tournaments.

After hanging up his boots, Klinsmann moved into management, and had managed both Germany and the United States national teams. He managed to lead Germany to third place in the 2006 World Cup.
